Safe Homes for Families in Biddra, Kutch

In Biddra, Kutch, India, many families are still rebuilding their lives after an earthquake destroyed entire villages. For families already living hand-to-mouth, rebuilding a safe place to sleep is nearly impossible. That’s why we plan to build 400 square foot homes for those who lost everything. Our first goal is to construct 10 homes, with an end goal of reaching 20 homes giving families a sturdy foundation and a place to heal, rest, and grow.

We hope to open these new homes by near future.

A Lifeline: Building a Local Medical Store

In Biddra, families have no easy access to medicines — the nearest medical store is an 18-hour walk away, a distance that can cost lives. Many patients skip life-saving treatment simply because help is too far. Our plan is to build a subsidized medical store right in the village, so everyone can get essential medicines easily and affordably. By opening this store next year, we can help ensure that distance and cost never stand in the way of hope.

Fighting Malnutrition with Nutrition Powder

Malnutrition in India leaves countless children at risk — even babies as young as 2 months old can develop cataracts from poor maternal nutrition. Many students arrive at school undernourished, making it impossible to learn or grow. To change this, we’re creating an affordable nutrition powder — a simple drink that provides all the nutrients a child needs to thrive. For just $3 a month, families can keep their kids healthy, nourished, and ready to chase their dreams.

Track and Field Project: A Platform for Growth and Excellence

At Sona Shah Heart Foundation, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for youth to excel through sports. Our Track and Field project is designed to inspire and nurture young talent in underprivileged communities by providing them with world-class sports facilities.
