The floods have left families in urgent need of food, clean water, shelter, education and medical support. Sona Shah Heart Foundation is working on the ground to support affected families.
Thank you for your great generosity. The covid-19 crisis in India continues to be a problem with almost 400,000 cases in a day and up to 3,000 deaths in a day. These are the same numbers that we saw during 9/11, here in the United States. Currently, in India, there is a complete lockdown which is starting to make a positive impact, but the peak death rate is not expected to go down until the middle of June. In march of 2019, as covid was starting , our foundation was first to send oxygen concentrators to India and built a covid unit We were able to send 60 oxygen concentrators that are providing up to 5 to 10 liters of oxygen each. Once again, thank you for the generosity and for helping us save lives in India.
Sona Shah Heart Foundation supports community wellbeing through outreach projects such as medical equipment donations, shelter and dignity-building efforts, and future programs designed to improve nutrition, sports access, and local healthcare infrastructure.
