Our upcoming project we are currently working on is in Biddra, Kutch, India, where an earthquake devastated a large area of homes and villages. We are aiming to build 400 square foot homes and initially plan to construct 10 homes with an end-goal of reaching 20 homes. We hope to open in May of 2024.

In Biddra there is no medical stores and patients have to walk for about 18 hours to get to the nearest store. We are planning on building a medical store and hope to subsidize the medications so patients can receive life-saving medications at an affordable price. We hope to open the store next year as well.

Malnutrition is a major problem in India. Many children who are as young as 2 months old may develop cataracts due to malnutrition during pregnancy. Some children in school are also malnourished due to being unable to afford proper nutrition. To help combat this, we are working with a company to make nutrition powder that can be dissolved in water and provide all of the necessary nutrients for children. The end cost will be about $3 a month per child.
